Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- Prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification a plus
- Bi-lingual experience a plus
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to build relationships

Job Duties
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- Interact verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Complete assigned opening and closing side work
- Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- Present guest checks, make correct change, and complete credit transactions
- Process employee and manager food orders
- Relay food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system promptly and accurately
- Manage service of alcohol according to all legal and company policies
- Participate in clearing and resetting the bar area
- Occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Explain and demonstrate usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- Drive sales with suggestive selling techniques to create a legendary customer experience
- Participate in local store marketing to drive bar traffic and restaurant sales
- Remove trash and garbage from bar service area to dumpster
