This opportunity is with The Dive, located at the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The Dive operates as a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) establishment which functions primarily to serve the morale, welfare, and recreational needs of military personnel, their families, and authorized patrons. Job Requirements

Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds
Must be able to push and pull objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds
Must occasionally lift objects weighing up to and over 40 pounds
Must meet minimum age requirement for working with alcoholic beverages
Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical
Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires
Open to everyone
Proof of eligibility must be provided by closing date
No education substitution allowed for experience

Job Qualifications

Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients
Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues
Skill in following cash handling procedures
Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training
Ability to communicate clearly and deal with the public
Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and National Agency Check with Inquires

Job Duties

Mix alcoholic beverages for retail sale including liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit
Recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
Follow cash handling procedures accurately
Communicate clearly and deal effectively with the public
Lift and carry objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds frequently
Push and pull objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds frequently
Occasionally lift objects weighing up to and over 40 pounds
