Job Requirements

Must have 1-2 years experience as a bartender
Must possess state applicable alcohol compliance certification
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to state law
Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours per day
Must be able to lift and maneuver boxes weighing up to 35 pounds
Must be able to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe continuously
Must be able to tolerate heat and work in a physically intense environment
Must have availability for weekends and holidays
Must maintain good communication skills
Must be punctual and able to maintain a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years experience as a bartender
Possess applicable state alcohol compliance certification
Exceptional aptitude for guest service
Excellent communication skills
Contagiously friendly, outgoing and energetic
Organized
Sense of urgency
Able to multi-task
Able to think and act quickly while maintaining composure
Able to meet all schedule requirements

Job Duties

Greet guests within 30 seconds
Deliver every order 100% correct
Suggestively sell to every guest
Mix, garnish and serve drinks according to standard recipes
Ring drink and food orders into POS immediately, collect payment and make change
Arrange bottles and glasses attractively
Wash and sterilize stemware
Count drinks served to guests
Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times
Provide responsible service of alcohol
Have knowledge of all food and beverage specifications
Work as part of a team, communicating clearly and constructively
Be on time for work
Maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude
Keep uniform and station clean
Follow uniform standards
Understand and meet SMG scoring standards for speed and accuracy
Ensure delivery of the Silver Diner Brand
Properly account for all sales
Handle cash properly
Track waste
Perform additional duties as assigned by managers
