Job Requirements

One year of prior bartending experience preferred
prior guest relations training
proper food safety training and certification as described by law
experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.) and reservation software (Toast)
strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
knowledge of proper food handling
excellent written/verbal communications skills
positive upbeat attitude/personality
punctuality and reliable attendance are required
ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and other team members
ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision
ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
must be willing to work flexible hours such as mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
plan and present bar menu
check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
