Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine including recipes, history, base ingredients, and jiggers
Must ensure a good guest experience
Must be able to work weekend shifts
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 5 hours
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

High school education required
Hospitality or related degrees are a plus
Minimum 1 year of experience in the restaurant or customer service industry preferred
Thorough knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and beverage preparation
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Job Duties

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine to guests
Present drink menu, make recommendations, and answer guest questions regarding food and beverages
Take orders and promptly serve food and drink
Check in with guests about their experience and up-sell whenever possible
Record drink or food orders accurately and process payments
Fill in as a server as needed to support restaurant operations
Maintain inventory and replenish bar supplies
Ensure cleanliness of the bar area including counters, tables, equipment, and floors
Wash and sterilize glassware and maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
