Job Duties

  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Request additional supplies as necessary
  • Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing duties
  • Prepare garnishes, mix drinks, and prepare pre-mixed beverages
  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally
  • Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes, maintaining consistency in quality
  • Collect checks/payments for drinks served
  • Promptly report any guest complaints to a manager
  • Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace
  • Keep records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and maintain a positive and enthusiastic commitment to hospitality
  • Attend staff meetings as required
  • Maintain knowledge of wines and liquors in the club's inventory
  • Consistently comply with all state, local, and club laws/policies related to the service of alcohol
