Job Requirements

Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and active listening skills
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Skillfully mix and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks while adhering to established recipes and standards
Possess an in-depth knowledge of the drink menu including ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, take drink orders, offer suggestions, and provide a personalized experience
Ensure drinks are visually appealing and well-presented using garnishes and glassware appropriately
Prepare the bar area for service ensuring all necessary tools, ingredients, and supplies are available, and keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the shift
Process payment transactions accurately, manage tabs, handle cash and credit card transactions, maintain an organized cash register and provide accurate change
Provide entertainment and engage with customers by offering recommendations and creating a lively atmosphere, making guests feel welcomed and valued
Monitor and manage beverage inventory, restock supplies as needed and report any shortages to management, assist with inventory counts and ordering
Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol, verify customer age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals
Work closely with other staff members including servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
