Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending or relevant experience
  • must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal drinking age
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • compliance with all local and state food and beverage regulations
  • ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
  • valid training certificate in bartending or mixology

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of mixing garnishing and serving drinks
  • positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • ability to keep the bar organized stocked and clean

Job Duties

  • Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • interact with customers take orders and serving
  • assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • plan and present bar menu
  • check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • stay guest focused and provide an excellent guest experience
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • exemplify outstanding communication skills
  • create unique experiences for guests
  • keep a clean and tidy work area
  • complete opening/closing duties including prep/checklist
  • adhere to cash handling policies including processing credit card charges and providing accurate bills
  • participate in inventory and maintain pour-cost control
