Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
ability to operate equipment such as cash registers and dishwashers
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to handle difficult situations professionally
ability to open and close bar and maintain supplies
ability to move efficiently around bar area
ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
ability to obtain and maintain required certifications

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior bartending or bar attendant experience preferred
strong knowledge of drink mixing techniques
excellent customer service skills
ability to communicate clearly in English
ability to work independently and in teams
flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Open and close the hotel bar following company policies
mix and serve a wide variety of drinks to guests
maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and food prep areas
provide excellent customer service and hospitality
operate bar equipment including cash register and dishwashers
handle monetary transactions accurately including making change
respond to guest inquiries about the hotel and local area
comply with company standards and obtain required certifications
