- ability to open and close bar and maintain supplies
- ability to move efficiently around bar area
- ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending or bar attendant experience preferred
- strong knowledge of drink mixing techniques
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- ability to work independently and in teams
- flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel bar following company policies
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks to guests
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and food prep areas
- provide excellent customer service and hospitality
- operate bar equipment including cash register and dishwashers
- handle monetary transactions accurately including making change
- respond to guest inquiries about the hotel and local area
- comply with company standards and obtain required certifications
