Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
one to three months related experience and/or training
must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, listen, and use hands
ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
reliable attendance
knowledge of current trends in the industry and marketplace
professional and courteous demeanor
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
two years minimum bartending experience
knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
alcohol awareness training
ability to assist with creation of seasonal cocktails and social media content
ensures compliance with state liquor laws
experience with point-of-sale systems such as POSITOUCH and MICROS preferred
professional and courteous demeanor
strong commitment to company values
exceptional personal hygiene
fluent in English speaking, writing, and understanding
meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

Stocks bar
mixes and serves alcoholic beverages
assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records
assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
assists department leaders with social media schedule and creation of content
maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager
performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
accountable for checks and cash transactions using point-of-sale system
reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
serves catered parties from service or portable bars
occasionally serves meals to guests
incorporates safe work practices in job performance
maintains regular and reliable attendance
performs other duties as required
