Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
Ability to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures
Ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability to move about the facility and stand for long periods of time
Ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently

Job Qualifications

Minimum age of 18 years
Ability to read and communicate in English
Ability to operate Micros point of sale system
Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
Friendly and positive attitude
Ability to follow sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company sanitation procedures
Maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
Follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
Greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
Accurately take guests food and drink orders
Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
Enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
Be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side work at the beginning and end of their shift
Demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account for all monies at the end of each shift
Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to the designated bar areas as well as other sections in the restaurant as needed
Work quickly and efficiently adhering to 'Full hands in, Full hands out' philosophy
Participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
Complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required
Complete opening/closing duties in a timely manner
Assist in party set up and breakdown
Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
Buss and reset tables as needed
Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, prebussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs promptly
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
Listen to hear guests orders and needs, and communicate with guests verbally and with other team members verbally via Micros system
Be friendly and able to smile frequently
Demonstrate restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
Read and communicate in English
Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
Be at least 18 years of age
