Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or barista experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to high standards of service and product quality
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers are educated on products and services
- Maintain highest quality and consistent product standards
- Follow company beverage recipes and procedures
- Pass monthly re-certifications timely
- Develop understanding of beverage programs including espresso drinks, wine selections, cocktails
- Prepare espresso, tea, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages proficiently
- Greet customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and build rapport
- Verbally receive and call back customer orders in friendly manner
- Report customer complaints to manager on duty
- Respond proactively to prevent customer service situations
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Accurately ring orders into Point of Sale system, issue bills, accept payment
- Answer customer questions regarding beverage and menu item preparation and ingredients
- Serve customers during breakfast, lunch, and evening meal periods
- Maintain efficient, friendly service following company steps of service and SOPs
- Routinely clean bar area, floor, windows, equipment, take out trash
- Set dining tables for service according to company guidelines
- Collaborate with team to ensure meal service completion
- Deliver food orders maintaining steps of service standards
- Work closely with culinary team to ensure timely food delivery
- Complete side work as assigned
- Assist in distribution of weekly shipments
- Buss, maintain and clean Club and restaurant spaces
- Report potential safety hazards and employee accidents to manager
- Inform manager of operational inconsistencies
