Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures
  • Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure in a team environment
  • Problem solving skills, self-motivation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, climbing, and maintain visual and auditory acuity
  • Continuous talking and hearing for effective communication
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits
  • Knowledge of Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish wines is a plus
  • Ability to articulate appealing descriptions of menu items
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for continuous learning and innovation
  • Experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment
  • Understanding of cash handling and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Exceed guests' expectations by providing authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary and beverage experience paired with impeccable service and genuine sense of hospitality
  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of front of house and back of house teammates
  • Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails
  • Embrace continuous learning and discovery by expanding knowledge of food and beverage
  • Articulate appealing description of menu items explaining preparation, ingredients, and suggest beverage pairings
  • Participate in research and development of cocktail creations with the team
  • Maintain expected steps of service during high volume peak hours
