Job Requirements

Minimum three years previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant/bar
must have excellent knowledge of alcohol including wine, cocktails, spirits, and beer
must have excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
must be at least 21 years of age and have TIPS certification

Job Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers, taking orders and making recommendations as needed
ensure that the bar area is clean and organized, and restock supplies as needed
maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings, including wines, beers, and spirits
create and mix new cocktails and drinks to enhance the customer experience
handle cash and credit card transactions and process orders through the POS system
provide excellent customer service, including making conversation with customers and addressing any concerns they may have
monitor alcohol intake of customers and adhere to responsible serving practices
assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking supplies
