Job Requirements

Ability to operate POS, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift
Stands/walks 6 to 8 hours per shift
Reaches, lifts and bends frequently
Able to deliver plates, food and clear the bar which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
Able to change kegs which may require lifting as much as 60 lbs with a partner
Ability to read and write English
Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests
Ability to be friendly and smile

Job Qualifications

Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation
Experience in hospitality or bartending preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff
Knowledge of handling POS systems
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Ability to read and write English

Job Duties

Guide the guest through the dining experience by helping with selection of food and beverage
Enhance each guest's experience by suggesting courses, specialties and features
Maintain strong knowledge of menu items and preparations
Take orders of guests both in house and over the phone and convey to bar and/or kitchen
Prompt delivery of food and drink to each guest
Communicate well with servers, kitchen staff and management throughout shift
Prepare mixed drinks, wine and beer for bar patrons
Prepare mixed drinks, wine and beer orders placed by service staff
Maintain presentation and cleanliness of bar
Prepare before, during and after shift with various side works
