Job Requirements

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Ability to obtain club-required certifications or licenses including TAM certification
Flexibility to work varying schedules due to cyclical nature of hospitality industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
Understanding of restaurant operations including staffing levels and member etiquette
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Ability to remember and promote a variety of menu items
Capability to move efficiently through a crowded dining room
Proficient in handling member and guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
Mixologist certificate preferred
Prior full dining hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

Organize and maintain a clean and pleasant bar environment prior to and throughout the day
Greet members within the first minute of arrival
Take drink orders within two minutes after greeting
Serve beverages in appropriate glassware with established measurements and garnishes
Check on members and guests every fifteen minutes to ensure satisfaction
Accurately present guest checks using handheld tablet devices, ensuring member signatures
Maintain alcohol management standards including TAM certification
Fill requisition orders to stock beverages and bar supplies, maintaining established par levels
Demonstrate full knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage trends
Perform creative mixology and craft original cocktails
Tend to assigned tables within the bartender section
Complete daily opening and closing checklists according to shift schedule
Maintain open communication with members, guests, management, and team members
Assist in training of newly hired employees
