Job Requirements

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to obtain club-required certifications or licenses including TAM certification
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules due to cyclical nature of hospitality industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Understanding of restaurant operations including staffing levels and member etiquette
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to remember and promote a variety of menu items
  • Capability to move efficiently through a crowded dining room
  • Proficient in handling member and guest complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Mixologist certificate preferred
  • Prior full dining hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Organize and maintain a clean and pleasant bar environment prior to and throughout the day
  • Greet members within the first minute of arrival
  • Take drink orders within two minutes after greeting
  • Serve beverages in appropriate glassware with established measurements and garnishes
  • Check on members and guests every fifteen minutes to ensure satisfaction
  • Accurately present guest checks using handheld tablet devices, ensuring member signatures
  • Maintain alcohol management standards including TAM certification
  • Fill requisition orders to stock beverages and bar supplies, maintaining established par levels
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage trends
  • Perform creative mixology and craft original cocktails
  • Tend to assigned tables within the bartender section
  • Complete daily opening and closing checklists according to shift schedule
  • Maintain open communication with members, guests, management, and team members
  • Assist in training of newly hired employees
