Job Requirements

Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
Must be able to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working
Must have manual dexterity and coordination
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
Must respond to visual and aural cues

Job Qualifications

Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items
Must have the ability to read, speak and write English
Ability to remember, recite and promote variety of menu items
Must have ability to operate beverage and toaster equipment

Job Duties

Ensures complete guest satisfaction
Responsible for maintaining proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables
Responsible for greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner while promoting beverage orders
Responsible for inputting orders into a register at the POS and creating a check for each guest
Responsible for receiving cash from guests, making change, verifying charges, recording charges, and ensuring vouchers are properly executed
Responsible for securing all beverages, food, equipment items, deposits, cash drops and banks
Responsible for performing general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards
Responsible for the set-up according to established standards and company guidelines
Responsible for providing the lounge or bar guest with exceptional, attentive service
Must perform as any sales attendant providing exceptional guest courtesy and having complete knowledge of all bar and menu items
May be responsible for clearing and busing the bar tables in the absence of bus person
Responsible for supporting other associates during peak business periods
Responsible for suggestive selling to increase average check
Responsible for the set-up and preparation work for the next shift or day
Practices the WinStar World Hotel Culture and supports hotel's training needs
Must abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to Serving Alcohol with Care
