Job Requirements

Bartenders need to be at least 21 years of age
Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
Complete Safe Alcohol Service training program
Prior experience in a high-volume bar environment preferred
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Require regular and consistent attendance
Have an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Provide excellent guest service
Possess accurate cash handling and basic math skills
Have interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities
Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Ability to take and follow direction
Respond with a sense of urgency
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
Ability to work in moderate to high noise levels

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and make recommendations
Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
Process payment for completed guest orders
Maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
Assist the General Manager on duty with placing orders for all liquor and bar related supplies
Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
Monitor safety and security issues and reports issues to management
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
