Job Requirements

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
Thorough knowledge of menu items and service procedures
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Problem solving abilities
Self-motivated and organized
Ability to stand and walk 100% of the time
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
Continuous talking and hearing for communication
Requires manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment

Intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits
Experience in cocktail preparation and beverage service preferred

Job Duties

Exceed guests' expectations by providing an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary and beverage experience paired with impeccable service and a genuine sense of hospitality
Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates
Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails
Embrace an active and innovative approach to expanding your knowledge of food and beverage
Articulate appealing descriptions of every menu item, including preparation methods, ingredients, and suggestive beverage pairings
Participate in research and development of cocktail creations with the team
Maintain expected steps of service during high volume peak hours
Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of beer, wine, and spirits, with knowledge of Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish wines as a plus
