Job Requirements

High school diploma
Must be 21 years of age or older
2-3 years of prior bar experience preferred
Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and obtain a key gaming license
Must hold current liquor license or ability to obtain one within 10 days of employment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of Tribal, State, Federal laws and regulations
Knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and self-lead
Ability to handle large sums of money
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge and ability to use cash registers and credit card machines
Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Job Duties

Ensure safety and cleanliness at all times
Must provide a high level of customer service to all guests
Serve guests drinks, collect payments and operate a cash register
Prepare drinks from recipes
Ability to handle and count money and credit card transactions
Ensure proper and legal serving of alcoholic drinks
Clean equipment and work areas
Stock work area
Ability to handle fast paced areas
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk the casino floor as needed
Must be able to identify intoxicated guests and cutoff as needed
Must abide by responsible serving and ABLE laws
Complete end of shift paperwork
Wash glasses, wipe counters, clean ashtrays and pull trash
Perform other duties as assigned
