Job Qualifications

  • Be 19 years of age
  • TIPS certified
  • able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests
  • must be able to work unsupervised
  • available to work between 10:00 am to 1:00 am
  • able to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
  • able to stand and work for up to 4 hours consecutively
  • able to perform repetitive motion work without physical restraints
  • able to lift, move, and shelve products up to 50 lbs
  • able to work in temperatures exceeding 85 degrees Fahrenheit
  • willing to follow directions and ask for clarification
  • able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • possess adaptability, planning, problem solving, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills
  • have above average knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer and cocktail preparation
  • self-motivated, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule

Job Duties

  • Quickly and efficiently deliver food and drink to tables
  • ensure ticket times and orders are accurate including guest modifications
  • maintain a clean working environment
  • demonstrate composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • step in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation
  • take responsibility for quality of guests' experience
  • check guest identification to limit excessive drinking
  • take drink and food orders from guests and servers
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes
  • learn and recognize regular customers
  • wash and sterilize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
  • prepare garnishes and replenish snacks for bar patrons
  • maintain attractive and functional bar setup
  • clear and reset bar tables
  • present drink menus, make recommendations and answer beverage questions
  • maintain cleanliness in all bar areas
  • restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • balance bar till at shift start and end
  • have excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving cocktails
  • comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • pay attention to detail and drink presentation
  • contribute to daily, holiday, and themed drink menus
  • complete cleaning per daily and weekly schedules
  • assess customers' needs and preferences
  • upsell food and drinks to maximize profits
  • educate customers on menu concept and ingredients
