Job Requirements

  • College degree or at least five years of related work experience in business management, hospitality or related field
  • previous experience as General Manager of a full-service hotel is preferred
  • previous experience in Food & Beverage roles like Chef, Director of F&B, Food & Beverage Manager is preferred
  • strong leadership qualities
  • strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • strong attention to detail and organized
  • ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • reliability and honesty

Job Duties

  • Greets guests pleasantly as they approach the bar
  • promote house drinks and utilize suggestive selling skills whenever possible to maximize revenues
  • prepares beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operating procedures
  • operates restaurant equipment such as the cash register, telephone, calculator etc
  • provides security for guests and property by verifying restaurant bank, making safe drops, following credit card procedures, and reporting suspicious activity by guests or others
  • maintains clean and organized work area to maximize safety and efficiency
