Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending experience in luxury or high-end hospitality settings
- mastery of cocktail-making techniques
- strong understanding of spirits, wines, aperitifs, and non-alcoholic craft beverages
- excellent guest communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to move safely in uneven terrain or confined spaces
- capability to endure prolonged standing and medium work lifting up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender in a luxury hotel, Michelin-starred venue, or high-end cocktail bar
- extensive knowledge of global wine and spirits, including small-batch and exclusive allocations
- proficiency in POS systems, bar inventory software, and cash handling procedures
- fluent in English
- additional languages a plus
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Create and serve high-quality cocktails, spirits, and beverages that align with Faena's elevated luxury standards
- engage guests in an immersive bar experience, providing personalized recommendations and cocktail education
- maintain a deep knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, wine pairings, and artisanal spirits
- ensure the bar is fully stocked, impeccably clean, and organized at all times
- monitor and control liquor costs, waste, and portioning to maximize efficiency
- collaborate with the Beverage Director and Bar Manager to create seasonal and signature cocktails
- ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, health codes, and Faena safety standards
