Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or similar role preferred
- Ability to accurately measure and pour drinks
- Must be able to check IDs and verify age
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must comply with responsible beverage service laws
- Good problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications

- Prior bartending or beverage service experience preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology
- Ability to free pour accurately
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Familiarity with POS systems
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a timely and accurate manner according to established recipes and guidelines
- Ask for ID from guests who appear under the age of 30
- Accurately prepare drinks following company recipes and presentation standards
- Free pour specific shot measurements with consistent proficiency
- Engage guests by asking if they have been to Arooga's before
- Take and deliver drink orders promptly and suggest specialty and non-alcoholic beverages
- Offer menus to every guest and explain Arooga's unique dining experience
- Ask required wing questions and practice responsible beverage service
- Suggest appetizers, add-on sides, salads, and soups and deliver them promptly
- Know the menu thoroughly and answer guest questions accurately
- Check back with guests within two minutes to ensure satisfaction
- Observe when drinks need refilling or dishes cleared without being intrusive
- Enter food and drink items accurately at the POS station
- Present check and process payment promptly and correctly
- Pre-bus the bar by clearing food items
- Resolve guest complaints immediately or involve management as appropriate
- Notify management of guest complaints and how issues were resolved
- Assist other bar stations and service bar printer when needed
- Complete any other duties assigned by management
- Work during weekends, evenings, and holidays
