Job Requirements
- Legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation
- Up to date state-required bartending certifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar is preferred
- Up to date certifications required by state regulations
- Strong knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and wine/beer selections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation
Job Duties
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests according to Mesero's recipes and service standards
- Provide exceptional service to guests, taking orders, offering drink recommendations, and engaging in conversation to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout each shift
- Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol service regulations, including checking guest identification and managing guest consumption responsibly
- Efficiently use a point-of-sale (POS) system to ring in orders, process payments, and make change
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including both drinks and food, and be able to assist guests with questions or suggestions
- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues to management when necessary
