Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology principles
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Compliance with all company policies and local alcohol serving laws
Certification in responsible alcohol service as required by local laws
Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations calmly
Physical fitness to meet job demands
Team player with strong collaboration skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be of legal drinking age in the location of employment.

Job Qualifications

Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in company approved dress code
Ability to mix drinks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Must follow standards of responsible service of alcohol
Meet local jurisdiction requirements including obtaining necessary certifications
Proficient in operating POS system, handling cash and credit card transactions
Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult guests
Able to pass initial and annual validation assessments
Effective communication skills and ability to respond clearly to guests
Ability to hear well in noisy environments
Physical ability to lift 30 lb. cases and stand for entire shifts
Capable of performing tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, stirring and wiping
Comfortable immersing hands in hot water frequently during shifts.

Job Duties

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and company policies
Merchandise drinks attractively to enhance guest experience
Maintain a warm and welcoming "Corner Bar" atmosphere
Properly and promptly prepare, garnish, and serve drinks
Engage with guests using flair bartending techniques
Know the menu thoroughly to make appropriate beverage and food recommendations
Upsell food and drink items when appropriate
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and presentable
Accurately ring up orders using the POS system while socializing with guests
Adhere strictly to responsible alcohol service standards including managing intoxicated guests
Promote specials and foster a loyal clientele base
Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns
Assist in maintaining compliance with local regulations and certifications
Participate in ongoing training and revalidation processes.
