Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to lift trays, dish racks, glass racks weighing 20-40 lbs
  • Capacity to push carts, Queen Marys, hotbox, portable bar weighing 50-100 lbs
  • Ability to bend/kneel to access lower cabinets and lift trays
  • Mobility to maneuver in narrow areas and among seated guests
  • Capacity to stand continuously 100% of scheduled time
  • Ability to climb approximately 12 steps 20% of an 8-hour shift
  • No driving required
  • Ability to read and use records and handle special requests
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail in crowded and noisy environments
  • Ability to use tact and understanding in handling customer service problems including stressful or emotional situations
  • Ability to accurately count cash
  • Ability to operate a cash register

Job Qualifications

  • Bartending training and certification
  • TIPS Certified
  • Minimum 6 months bartending experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

  • Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
  • Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges in exact adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
  • Know and comply with state liquor laws
  • Ensure established pars are maintained
  • Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules
