Job Duties
- assist in the training and development of new team members
- cooperate, communicate and work as a team
- properly handle cash and credit card transactions
- practice responsible selling and service of alcohol as mandated
- accept and facilitate to-go orders via phone or online ordering
- ensure security of all bar products and follow lock-up procedures
- maintain professional image and proper uniform standards
- frequently interact with guests and ensure positive dining experiences
- thank guests sincerely for their patronage
- maintain high level of food and beverage knowledge
- prepare beverages according to recipe using appropriate products and glassware
- ensure stock levels meet specifications
- use standard recipes and methods for consistency
- stay abreast of and help implement promotions
- maintain cleanliness and safety inside and outside the restaurant
- follow food safety practices and prevent cross-contamination
- adhere to labeling, dating, and shelf-life standards
- follow checklists and cleaning schedules
- maintain bar equipment according to schedule
