Now, Butler's Pantry is looking to add a Bartender to its dynamic event team. This hourly position plays a crucial role in the service and bar functions at various events, ensuring guests receive professional, courteous, and high-quality beverage service. Bartenders at Butler's Pantry are entrusted not only with the preparation and service of drinks but also with upholding the company’s established service guidelines and standards. The Bartender will be responsible for setting up the bar area with all necessary supplies such as tables, linens, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and water pitchers. Familiarity with cocktail recipes, wine varietals, and proper pouring etiquette is essential. The role requires a commitment to responsible alcohol service, including monitoring guests to prevent overserving, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the workspace, and ensuring all safety standards are met. Additionally, the Bartender assists with breakdown procedures at the end of events and collaborates with team members to ensure smooth operations, including loading and unloading equipment.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to engage guests positively are paramount. The Bartender must maintain a professional demeanor throughout the event, work cooperatively with Service Captains and co-workers to resolve any service issues, and sustain a sense of urgency and focus to maximize efficiency and quality throughout the service period. Job Requirements

- 6 months to 1 year industry-relevant experience preferred

Job Duties
- ensure the bar area is properly set-up including tables, linens, liquor, wine, beer, garnishes, and water pitchers
- have knowledge of various cocktail recipes, wine packages and varietals, liquor and beer brands and styles
- practice responsible alcohol service and monitor guests to prevent overserving
- maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring product is stocked and accessible
- break down the bar at the end of events following all guidelines for packing and cleanliness
- assist other team members including loading and unloading the truck
- greet, interact with, and serve all guests in a positive and professional manner while maintaining attentiveness throughout the event
