The role requires a detailed understanding of drink preparation, the ability to follow standard recipes, and the capacity to offer food items responsibly when appropriate. This position requires adherence to company policies including responsible alcohol service laws and excellent cash handling skills. The Bartender will greet guests promptly, take beverage orders either from servers or directly from guests, and prepare drinks in compliance with company standards, enhancing the overall dining and drinking experience. By verifying age requirements rigorously and reporting any underage or intoxicated guests, the candidate will uphold safety and legal protocols. Additionally, the Bartender will be responsible for POS operations, including ringing up orders, collecting payment, balancing receipts, and handling cash following established procedures. Maintaining an organized bar stocked with tools and products necessary for smooth operations will also be part of the daily duties. Beyond beverage service, the Bartender will contribute to the establishment’s ambiance by arranging bottles, glassware, and beverage products attractively. Regular cleaning, set-up, and breakdown of the bar area ensure that the workspace remains sanitary and efficient.
