Job Description
Operate the functional areas of the restaurant bar as the first impression and 'face' of the establishment, servicing restaurant and bar guests in a professional and accurate manner. Responsibilities include greeting, seating, and engaging customers, suggestive selling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The role involves mixing and serving a variety of drinks, handling cash transactions, and resolving guest complaints effectively. The position also requires adherence to hotel procedures, attending training sessions, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to legally serve and pour alcohol in the State of Maryland
- willing to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong command of the English language, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- excellent people skills, energetic personality, and ability to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment
- basic computer skills and cash handling experience desired
- able to lift, pull, or carry items weighing approximately 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of Restaurant Experience
- ServSafe and TIPS certification preferred
