This job opportunity is for the position of Bartender at The Ritz-Carlton's Lobby Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time, non-management role is integral in ensuring that guests receive an outstanding and unique hospitality experience. The bartender’s role extends far beyond just mixing drinks; it involves crafting an inviting atmosphere and fostering meaningful relationships with guests and the hotel community. Bartenders are expected to stay current with the latest beverage trends, including micro-local offerings, and continually adapt to guests' evolving preferences, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience. This position requires a high level of expertise not only in beverage knowledge but also in hospitality and guest service. Responsibility includes overseeing the bar's operation to ensure it looks and functions perfectly, handling monetary transactions accurately, and maintaining the quality and presentation of every drink served.

Beyond the technical skills of bartending, this role is about being a host of the space and a true ambassador of The Ritz-Carlton’s Gold Standards. The bartender helps create a safe and welcoming environment while strictly adhering to company policies, protecting assets, and maintaining confidentiality. The physical demands of the job include frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift, move, or carry objects up to 25 pounds without assistance. The successful candidate should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of related work experience in a similar role, though no supervisory experience is required. Compliance with professional standards in personal appearance and uniform is also essential.
