Job Description
Evergreen Restaurant Group, a notable franchisee of the beloved Outback Steakhouse and a steward of the Carrabba's Italian Grill legacy, invites passionate individuals to join their vibrant team as a Bartender. Evergreen Restaurant Group operates some of the most recognized dining establishments, including Outback Steakhouse, known for its Australian-themed cuisine, and Carrabba's Italian Grill, celebrated for authentic Italian family recipes passed down through generations. These restaurants are independently owned and operated by licensed franchisees who uphold the highest standards of hospitality and culinary excellence.
Outback Steakhouse opened its doors in March 1988 and quickly earned a reputation for serious food quality infused with fun, providing a unique dining experience that feels like a home gathering. The restaurant prides itself on treating each customer like a guest in its own home while dedicating itself to the training and growth of every employee, affectionately called Outbackers. Meanwhile, Carrabba's Italian Grill roots its story in Sicily where the Carrabba family perfected their love for handmade flavors and warm atmospheres. Since opening the first Carrabba's in Houston, Texas in 1986, the franchise continues to honor its Italian heritage through wood-fire grilling techniques and homemade sauces that bring families together.
As a Bartender within the Evergreen Restaurant Group, you will play a key role in enriching the guest experience by crafting exceptional drinks efficiently and responsibly. This position emphasizes a vibrant and hospitable service style, where each drink is carefully prepared to perfection while following the highest state and local regulations. You will be expected to expertly manage the entire bar service, including maintaining an inviting pace and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Your mastery of the beverage menu will allow you to recommend drinks confidently, enhancing customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits.
The Bartender will also serve as an ambassador of the company’s hospitality standards, anticipating guest needs and providing timely, friendly service from order to payment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments that value teamwork and service excellence. Joining this team offers an excellent opportunity to earn competitive compensation while developing professional skills in a supportive atmosphere.
The company also offers generous perks such as meal comps, paid time off (when eligible) allowing employees to balance work and personal life, and health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Employees enjoy holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas off, underscoring the organization's commitment to family values. Evergreen Restaurant Group fosters a culture where every team member is valued and equipped to deliver top-tier dining experiences, making it a great place to build a rewarding career in hospitality.
