Operating in the lodging and hospitality industry, HHM Hotels has earned a reputation for delivering outstanding accommodations combined with attentive customer service. The company fosters a culture grounded in its core beliefs: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. This focus on excellence and guest satisfaction has positioned HHM Hotels as a preferred destination for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and superior service in their accommodations.
The current opportunity is for a Beverage Server position within HHM Hotels, offering both full-time and part-time employment options. This role provides competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, and other valuable perks. The Beverage Server is a pivotal member of the service team, tasked with delivering beverages and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
In this role, the Beverage Server is expected to maintain clean and organized bar areas, prepare and serve drink and/or food orders efficiently, and follow strict standards related to alcohol service, including verifying the age of customers and managing intoxicated guests responsibly. The role also involves customer interaction where servers take orders, serve guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas, and handle payments professionally. The Beverage Server plays a vital role in upholding the hotel's commitment to sustainability by adhering to HHM's EarthView program guidelines, which are designed to promote environmentally responsible practices.
The position offers a clear career growth path starting from Beverage Server to roles like Beverage Manager or Restaurant Supervisor, advancing to Restaurant Manager, and eventually progressing to Food and Beverage Manager. This progression highlights HHM Hotels' dedication to nurturing talent and promoting from within, offering employees opportunities to build long-term careers in hospitality.
Candidates for this position should have previous experience in bartending or mixology or equivalent training. A high school diploma is preferred, and certifications such as TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) and Food Sanitation are advantageous, with a Food Sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment. The job also demands physical stamina as it involves standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other physical activities.
Overall, this Beverage Server role is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service, who are eager to work in a dynamic environment that values excellence, responsibility, and continuous growth. Working at HHM Hotels means being part of a team committed to making every guest experience exceptional while supporting employees’ professional development and well-being.
