Longmeadow Country Club is a prestigious and member-focused country club renowned for delivering exceptional recreational and social experiences to its community. The club is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled bartender to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality at the club’s bar. The position offers a consistent Sunday shift from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm through November and includes occasional event shifts, with guaranteed hours starting at 8 hours per week and the potential to increase up to 20 hours weekly. The bartender will be responsible for creating both classic and innovative drinks that delight members and exceed their expectations. This role requires both technical skill in bartending as well as an engaging personality to ensure an excellent member experience.
The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interact warmly with members, and provide recommendations based on member preferences. The successful bartender will also manage the bar inventory, ensure compliance with food and beverage regulations, and contribute positively to the overall guest environment. Job Requirements
- Bartending: 2 years required
- Restaurant experience: 2 years required
Job Qualifications
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- POS experience
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Relevant training certificate
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for members
- Interact with members, take orders and serve meals and drinks
- Assess member needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Open and close bar according to club standards
- Stay member focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
