We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional food and beverage service to our restaurant patrons and event attendees. The Bartender will prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and individual guest preferences, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business. The position involves creating a positive guest experience through attentive service, teamwork, and a professional demeanor. The successful candidate will handle cash and POS transactions accurately, maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensure compliance with all relevant alcohol laws and regulations. This role requires collaboration with barbacks, servers, and management to maintain seamless service, especially during busy golf tournaments and special events. The Bartender will also take responsibility for opening and closing the bar, including setup and breakdown duties. Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Valid driver's license
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ensure compliance with operating guidelines related to TIPS program and all State and Federal Laws, Rules and regulations regarding Alcohol, Cigarette and Tobacco Division
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a high-volume environment
- Must be at least minimum age required by state law
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Accurately process orders and handle cash and POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies
- Check guest IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations
- Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly to ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and management to keep service running smoothly
- Open and/or close the bar as scheduled, including setup and breakdown
