The Bartender role at Life Time is integral to the overall member and guest experience, serving as both a hospitality expert and an ambassador of the brand’s values. This position focuses on preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely, professional manner while ensuring compliance with all alcohol serving laws and internal policies. Beyond mixing cocktails, the Bartender interacts closely with customers, taking food orders as necessary and providing friendly, informative service. Maintaining a clean and sanitary bar environment is essential, as is managing inventory levels by replenishing supplies such as liquors, wines, beer, and related ingredients. The Bartender is responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and reconciling the cash register at the end of each shift. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
  • Certified to serve alcohol
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory and ordering preferred

Job Duties

  • Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
  • Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
  • Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
  • Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
  • Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
