Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid food handler certification required
  • Applicable state certification for alcohol service required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working at a full-service bar
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus, and classic cocktail preparation
  • Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently bend, kneel, reach or twist
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Adherence to proper work attire standards and personal hygiene
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with exceptional service in a safe and clean environment
  • Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
  • Verify that guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years of age
  • Maintain full knowledge of bar and menu items and provide recommendations
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests at the bar in a timely manner
  • Deliver food and beverage orders within designated time frames
  • Consistently utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales
  • Set up the bar and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
  • Assist in ordering liquor and bar-related supplies as needed
