As a Bartender at MVW, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have memorable vacation experiences by providing excellent beverage service and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the resort. Working at an hourly rate of $16.35, this position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where your interactions directly impact guest satisfaction. The Bartender is responsible for greeting and interacting with guests, taking and delivering drink orders, and ensuring all beverages are prepared to the highest standard using precise recipes and measurement techniques. You will maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhere strictly to responsible alcohol service protocols including checking age verification, and uphold all company policies related to safety and guest service.

The role also includes collaborative responsibilities such as assisting other departments to ensure optimal guest service and contributing positively to team goals. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • able to perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • must pass background and drug screening as required by company policy

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role
  • basic knowledge of beverage preparation and drink recipes
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with guests, answer questions, take orders, deliver drinks, and ensure guest satisfaction
  • ensure alcohol is served responsibly by adhering to service limits and portion control processes
  • prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems
  • validate that all guests meet the minimum age to be served alcohol prior to serving
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
  • maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar, tables, and other tools following all set-up guidelines
