We are currently seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bartenders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy social interaction and creating memorable experiences for guests. As a bartender at Great American Restaurants, you will be an integral member of a fast-paced, high-volume, and team-oriented environment. You will work closely with your fellow GARStars to ensure that every guest receives top-notch service, with drinks expertly prepared and delivered with warmth and professionalism. Our bartenders play a vital role in guiding guests through our menus, offering knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage options that best meet their preferences.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year bartending or customer service experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or related customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our items
  • Taking accurate orders and working with other GARStars to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations
  • Providing a welcoming and attentive service that makes the guest feel well taken care of and building rapport with them
  • Assist in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant
