Job Requirements

HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years in OK, VA, and NC)
Food handler and state alcohol certificate required
Previous high volume bartending experience preferred
Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights, and repetitive motions

Job Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company recipes and standards
Greet guests warmly, take beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences
Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, cleaning up spills, and disposing of trash
Monitor bar inventory levels and communicate shortages to the Bar Manager
Assist with restocking and organizing supplies as needed
Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale system
Ensure proper change and receipts are given
Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol
Verify the age of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
Work effectively with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive guest experience
Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
Escalate issues to management when necessary
Assist with the set-up and execution of private events and special promotions as needed
Stay informed about new beverage trends and techniques to continually improve bartending skills
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
