Marriott International is a globally renowned hospitality company recognized for its vast portfolio of hotels, resorts, and luxury properties, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences around the world. Among its distinguished brands, Westin Hotels & Resorts stands out as a leader in wellness-focused hospitality, dedicated to helping guests enhance their well-being and live balanced, healthy lives even while traveling. Marriott International prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment where diversity, unique backgrounds, and individual talents are celebrated and valued. The company is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring non-discrimination on any protected basis and promoting a culture that encourages associates to embrace both personal and professional growth.

This role as a Bar Server at Westin Hotels & Resorts involves crafting unique and memorable beverage experiences for guests by preparing drink orders with precision and care, responding to customer needs with genuine appreciation, and maintaining the overall ambiance and operational cleanliness of the bar area. As a key contributor to the guest service team, the Bar Server ensures the highest standards of quality and hospitality are upheld by skillfully issuing, opening, and serving wines and champagnes; setting up and cleaning the bar and related tools; and managing stock supplies like ice, glassware, and garnishes. The candidate will also handle payment processing, complete cashier reports, and secure the bank at the end of shifts, demonstrating responsibility and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions. Additionally, this position involves securing stored liquors and other alcoholic beverages to maintain compliance with safety and security policies.

A significant aspect of the role is upholding Marriott's commitment to safety and security by reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management, completing required safety training, and adhering to all company procedures. The Bar Server is expected to maintain a professional personal appearance that reflects the brand's standards while fostering positive relationships within the team to collectively achieve guest satisfaction goals. Beyond operational duties, this role offers the excitement of working in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment that values active, optimistic, and passionate associates who are enthusiastic about well-being. The workplace is suited to those who enjoy engaging with guests and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and thriving in an environment that encourages personal development and wellness practices both on and off the property.

The Bar Server position does not require supervisory experience or special licenses but values at least one year of related work experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Marriott International offers competitive employment terms, a commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and a vibrant, supportive team environment where individuals can grow their careers while contributing to the preeminent wellness brand in hospitality, Westin Hotels & Resorts.
