Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bartending or customer service preferred
- knowledge of cash handling and basic math
- ability to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol service laws
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
- knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- understanding of food safety regulations and ability to handle food safely
- strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately
- hospitality mindset with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- maintain a clean and organized bar area
- check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events
