Job Requirements
- Minimum age requirement and authorization to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for shifts of 8 to 12 hours
- ability to work cooperatively in a team setting with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- knowledge of bar equipment and drink recipes
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Greet customers and welcome them with a smile when seated
- prepare the bar, including pour stations and glassware before opening, and replenish limited drinks, mixes, and garnishes as needed
- suggest sales of drinks, appetizers, and desserts
- prepare all drinks according to standard, using recipe, glassware, and garnish
- accurately take food and drink orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
- ensure the customer is well served, offer drink refills, and remove any unused items
- deliver and settle the check promptly, thank customers and invite them to return
- follow all food safety regulations
