Job Description
The hiring establishment is a vibrant and well-established club recognized for its commitment to providing an exceptional social and entertainment experience. Serving a diverse clientele, this establishment prides itself on high standards of service, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patrons to enjoy their time in a safe and professional environment. Known for its lively ambiance and attention to detail, the club continuously strives to maintain an inviting space where guests feel valued and appreciated. With a dedicated team of staff members, the organization promotes teamwork, professionalism, and quality customer service as core values.
The role of Bartender within this dynamic club setting is pivotal to ensuring smooth operations behind the bar and in the lounge areas. This position involves preparing and setting up all bar items for service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring the bar area is fully stocked and ready for operation by opening hours. The Bartender is responsible for crafting drinks that meet the club's standards efficiently and professionally, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the establishment's reputation. Additionally, this role requires adherence to club policies, such as enforcing rules and regulations consistently to maintain order and a safe environment. The Bartender must be proactive in managing stock, including liquor, wines, beer (including non-alcoholic options), snacks, garnishes such as mint, lemons, limes, onions, olives, and various mixes and fruit juices essential to the drink menu.
Maintenance of the bar area is a significant aspect of the job, with scheduled cleaning responsibilities including weekly and daily tasks. Weekly duties comprise cleaning the back bar by removing glasses, washing mats, cleaning shelves, and organizing liquor bottles, as well as sanitizing stainless steel surfaces including sinks, ice storage compartments, and ice makers. Floor maintenance involves sweeping, mopping, and replacing floor mats. Daily duties include cleaning tables, sweeping floors in the lounge and bar areas, window cleaning, garbage removal, and washing glasses and supplies. These tasks ensure the bar environment remains pristine and inviting for patrons and staff alike.
Reporting directly to the Bar Manager and Assistant Manager, the Bartender operates independently without supervisory duties but plays an essential role in the overall guest experience. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 20 pounds or more, reflecting the physical nature of the tasks involved, such as stocking and cleaning. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work environment, are attentive to detail, enjoy fast-paced social atmospheres, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The job not only requires technical skills related to bartending but also a commitment to maintaining the club’s high standards of hygiene and customer engagement. Through diligent work, the Bartender helps foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment where guests return time and again.
