The Bartender position involves multiple responsibilities that contribute to the overall guest experience. You will greet and welcome guests with a warm smile, set up and maintain the bar area preparing pour and glassware stations, restock beverages and garnishes as necessary, and suggestively sell drinks, appetizers, and desserts to increase guest satisfaction and sales. Precise preparation of all drinks to standard, careful order taking, and timely service are vital. You will check in with guests during their visit for refills and clear any items from the table promptly. Handling the check and ensuring guests leave with a positive impression is also a key part of the job. Adherence to all food safety standards is mandatory.

Physical demands require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely, stand for 8 to 12 hours per shift, and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, and stooping. Teamwork, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask effectively are important skills for success in this role. Job Duties

  • Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile when they are seated
  • Setting up the bar including pour and glassware stations prior to opening and limited restocking of beverages mixes garnishes as needed
  • Suggestively selling drinks appetizers and desserts
  • Making all drinks to standard using the recipe glassware and garnish
  • Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS properly
  • Checking back with guests throughout the experience to provide refills as needed and clearing any items from the table
  • Delivering and settling the check in a timely manner thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Following all food safety standards
