Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the bartender acts as both a service provider and host by greeting customers, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and responding promptly to guests’ needs. This role not only entails mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but also requires the bartender to collaborate closely with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate order delivery and address customer inquiries about menu items or daily specials. The bartender is also responsible for handling transactions accurately through point-of-sale systems, restocking the bar, and upholding the cleanliness and overall presentation of the bar area throughout the shift. Moreover, the position demands adherence to legal requirements related to serving alcohol and commitment to excellent customer care.

Candidates for this role should be at least 21 years old, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties

  • Greets customers as they are seated at the bar
  • ensures the area is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided as needed
  • Distributes menus and presents the daily specials
  • Answers questions regarding the menu and bar
  • Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen
  • Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
  • Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction
  • returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
  • Collects plates and clears the area as customers finish their meals
  • Prepares customers' checks and collects payments
  • Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the bar area and preparing silverware and condiments
  • Restocks bar area and perform other related duties as assigned
