Job Qualifications
- must be friendly and able to smile frequently
- must be skilled in effective guest communication
- must be able to read and communicate in english
- restaurant and bar experience preferred but not required
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment
- able to operate credit card machines
- able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- knowledge of micros system is a plus
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- keep supervisors informed of problems or significant matters
- create a fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to sanitation procedures
- manage personal bank and financial transactions accurately
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and alert management when necessary
- follow bar recipes to maintain consistency and control costs
- maintain cleanliness and set up/take down station tables
- greet guests promptly and take accurate food and drink orders
- understand menu items and answer questions
- enter orders into Micros system correctly
- manage sales on personal Micros keys and complete station duties
- operate Micros and handle credit transactions
- ensure proper garnish and delivery of food trays
- work efficiently with full hands in and out philosophy
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- complete bar inventories and requisitions
- perform opening and closing duties
- assist with party setup and breakdown
- support team members as needed
- bus and reset tables
- check back with guests and maintain drink levels
- foster positive working relationships
- communicate effectively with guests and team members
- maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
- work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
