The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner and features a fully stocked bar showcasing a diverse variety of bourbons and whiskeys, a selection of domestic, imported, and local craft beers, as well as signature handcrafted cocktails. This establishes Smokey Bones as a favored destination for guests seeking not only delicious slow-smoked and fire-grilled meats but also a vibrant social experience.
As a brand, Smokey Bones has been recognized as a Certified Great Place to Work for two consecutive years, a testament to its commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and enjoyable work environment. The company culture is built on celebrating individuality and teamwork, where each employee is valued for being themselves. Smokey Bones places a high emphasis on employee satisfaction by offering flexible scheduling, competitive pay, daily cash tips, scholarships, and a suite of exclusive benefits from day one. Their benefits also extend to employees’ immediate family members, highlighting the company’s dedication to supporting their extended work family.
The role offered is crucial in maintaining the quality of service and creating memorable guest experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a team member, you will engage directly with guests from the bar and dining area, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism. This is a hands-on position that involves cleaning, resetting the bar, assisting with food running, and preparing drinks according to established recipes. Emphasizing adherence to health and safety standards, the role requires vigilance in maintaining cleanliness and operational protocols.
Moreover, the position involves collaborating closely with other team members and management, which requires excellent communication skills and the ability to escalate guest issues constructively when necessary. The role includes legal responsibilities such as ensuring compliance with state laws regarding the service and pouring of alcohol. Smokey Bones encourages employees to grow and develop their careers internally, offering avenues for advancement and ongoing professional learning.
If you thrive in an energetic environment, value teamwork, and want to be part of a recognized company that champions employee well-being and growth, this role at Smokey Bones offers a rewarding opportunity. You will enjoy a supportive culture complemented by meaningful benefits, including access to a benefits hub, free employee assistance programs, healthcare options, and educational scholarships.
