The bartender role at Red Lobster is central to delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience at the bar. This role requires precision in taking beverage and food orders through the point of sale system, attentive monitoring of guest needs including offering refills and clearing unused items, and timely handling of guest bills. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bartending or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Attention to detail and multitasking capability
  • Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet them with a smile when seated
  • Prepare the bar area including pour stations and glassware before opening and replenish drinks, mixers and garnishes as needed
  • Suggest sales of beverages, appetizers and desserts
  • Prepare all drinks according to standard recipes using correct glassware and garnishes
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly in the POS system
  • Ensure customers are well attended, offer drink refills and clear any unused items
  • Deliver and settle the check in a timely manner, thank customers and invite them to return
  • Follow all food safety regulations
